Currently offering up to a $15,000 sign on bonus for qualifying Full Time RN's.

Acts as patient advocate during the perioperative period by implementing a plan to protect them from injury, wrong site surgery, infection and retained instruments. Coordinates the patient’s care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient’s physical and emotional needs, while assisting the surgeon. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.

Required Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required Skills:
Basic computer keyboard skills

Preferred Skills:
Meditech proficiency

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Texas license as a Registered Nurse and certified in Basic Life Support.

Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)

Preferred Experience:
One or more years circulating experience in a hospital Operating Room
