Busy general and bariatric surgery clinic is seeking a courteous, energetic, organized individual with a positive attitude for a full-time Surgery Scheduler/Bariatric Patient Navigator position. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Duties will include, but are not limited to, scheduling surgeries at various facilities, preparing and reviewing pre-operative instructions with patients, preparing surgical orders/paperwork, collecting coinsurance, maintaining database of bariatric patients in our program to ensure completion, insurance prior authorizations, triaging patients on clinic days, and preparing FMLA paperwork. Previous experience is required. Experience with eClinicalWorks EHR is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Travel to our Plano office may be required approximately twice per month. Salary is negotiable and based on experience. Generous benefit package.
