Job Description - Surgical Coordinator
Job Summary
Surgical Coordinator is responsible for preparing instruments and implants for orthopedic surgeries. This job entails but not limited to preparing instrument sets for surgeries at hospitals and office setting, medical terminology proficiency, attention to detail, loading and unloading surgical instrument trays and implant tubs from the Warehouse and delivering to hospitals and facilities. Will be required to also work inside warehouse, restocking inventory as well as staging inventory and organize and maintaining sets. This role would be reporting directly to a Sr. Surgical coordinator and will be in open communication with the surgical team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe and timely manner
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete
- Assist with loading and unloading inventory from vehicles
- Assemble surgical trays and prep for transport
- Required to work some holidays
- Participation in an “On Call” service from time to time
- Willing to work overtime when needed

Requirements
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Clean driving record
- Experience preferred
- Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
