Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs general clerical duties on a nursing unit by preparing, compiling, and maintaining records in a hospital nursing unit. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Must be familiar with medical terminology, and have experience with the use of a computer.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred.
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS required all units-Obtained through an approved American Health Association Training Center
