Job description

We have one part-time Sweets Baking position open. We're looking for one, detail oriented person, who can keep up with a fast paced production schedule with little oversight. We can teach you to bake, but you have to already be responsible, meticulous, and driven. Being good with people and enjoying an energetic atmosphere is helpful too.

You will come into the bakery early and start making our whole-grain dough for cinnamon rolls, and then move on to cookies, teacakes, brownies, scones, and more! This is fast-paced production baking, so you must be good at following recipes, making precise measurements, and multitasking baking and cleaning activities.

It is 3 days, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The shifts alternate between 2AM to 10AM and 4am to 1pm. Please only apply if your availability matches. Also, the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are our busiest time. You must be able to commit to working all your shifts from mid-November through the end of December. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Be loose and have fun is the first line of the mission statement of Great Harvest, and this position allows for a lot of fun. The dress is casual and comfortable, with FREE bread and treats to keep you fed. This position trains for two weeks at $10/hr, bumping up to your full pay as you grasp the new skills and become independent. Generous bonuses at 6-month and 1-year employment dates!
