Utilising a consultative, value add approach you’ll manage the end to end recruitment process, ensuring a positive journey for our candidates and hiring managers. The role


  • Delivering a fair, transparent and inclusive recruitment service to a range of Hiring Managers, operating with credibility and offering advice and challenge as required
  • Managing the end to end recruitment process, creating a great candidate experience, from application to onboarding.
  • Utilising a wide range of sourcing tools from job boards and social media to talent pools and LinkedIn, continually looking at the most relevant and cost-effective options, whilst positioning Tesco Bank as an inclusive employer. Where appropriate you’ll also engage & manage delivery with our recruitment PSL.
  • Building our employer brand, leveraging Tesco Bank’s EVP and creating innovative attraction campaigns, taking every opportunity to position Tesco Bank as an inclusive employer.
  • Partnering with the business and our Colleague Experience colleagues to provide consultative recruitment advice on attraction, selection, market conditions and timelines for the recruitment process as well as the provision of regular market information
  • Reviewing, developing and recommending assessment tools and techniques to ensure that we are best able to assess top talent whilst working with our wider Colleague Experience team to ensure hiring managers are equipped with the skills that they need.
  • Supporting the delivery of early careers initiatives, building strategic partnerships with external organisation, educational institutions and third sector industry bodies.
  • Designing and delivering recruitment campaigns
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, participating and/ or leading on Talent Acquisition projects. Looking for ways to improve our processes, services, systems and technology to drive a better recruitment experience for all.


What you’ll need

  • Extensive end to end recruitment experience, preferably inhouse or in an RPO, however, we’d also consider strong agency recruiters looking for a move inhouse.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and influence across levels
  • Proven success in utilising creative talent attraction strategies and a direct sourcing approach to attracting candidates and building talent pools
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practise
  • Experience of managing third-party agencies and suppliers.
  • Ability to autonomously run end to end recruitment
  • Previous experience developing and managing recruitment campaigns
  • Customer focus, commercially aware and astute
  • A sense of pride in your work and the level of service you provide, as well as a willingness to support and help your team and the wider business with recruitment-related projects and improvements, as required.
