The US Structural Heart Sales Training & Development Team is growing! Come to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses at Medtronic. You will be an important member of our fast-paced, high-visibility, US focused Structural Heart Training Team. Every day we are working to restore health to patients with heart valve disease. We’re seeking a Training and Education Specialist to play a critical role in supporting logistics for our new hire onboarding, clinical training, and sales training programs. You will be empowered to standardize processes, develop tools/systems to automate and create efficiencies. This role is also highly cross functional where you will interface and collaborate with the U.S. Training & Development Team, Marketing, Medical Education as well as the Field. A Day in the Life:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Training Program Specialist

  • · Partner with the Marketing team to identify and collect the training and educational material for clinical and sales training.
  • · Prepare physician payment documents and communicate formal payment details to physician faculty for field training case observation programs
  • · Responsible for department simulators including tracking location, examining after use for repairs and replenishing of disposables, communicating, and shipping for repairs, etc.
  • · Audit department demo products, and disposables, and order as needed for clinical and sales training programs and ensure demo products and case observation books are available to new hires
  • Partner with Marcom to create branded T&D PPT, sign in, Letters, etc. same look to use for all materials
  • · Partner with local Medtronic representatives to plan and execute field training case observation programs
  • · Maintains records of program spending and project codes, and partners with Sr. Program Manager to ensure on budget
  • · Manage salesforce campaigns and communications for all clinical, sales, and onboarding programs.
  • · Develop and implement program effectiveness and training satisfaction feedback methods for all programs to gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each program
  • · Oversee coordination of all department programs including program registration, hotel sourcing, scheduling class times & locations, sending program invitations, booking program welcome dinners, managing catering, printing materials, classroom setup, and support, and other logistical tasks for all U.S. Training & Development Programs and Certifications
  • · Must be available to be in the Medtronic office for all scheduled training programs, and program preparation days.

Department Administration

  • · Manage U.S. Training & Development shared calendar
  • · Manage U.S. Training & Development Director’s expense reports and travel needs
  • · Prepare materials and submit documents for all department shipping needs
Must Have: Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing or medical education/sales role
  • Experience interfacing with physicians and high-level medical personnel
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with logistics/meeting planning activities ideally in the medical or healthcare industry
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Campaigns, and Cvent

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive plan, which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) here .

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
