Summary
Under general supervision completes a variety of moderately complex indirect tax accounting activities involving sales, property and excise tax, and assist with research and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely preparation and filing of all required reports involving multiple government agencies and deadlines.
- Researching indirect tax issues and laws.
- Establishing procedures and methods for tax compliance and reporting.
Typical Education
Relevant Experience
- One to three years experience required.
- Adheres to all standards, policies and systems as appropriate.
Other Information
- Experience in indirect tax issues with an emphasis in sales tax compliance
- Some experience with audits. (desirable)
- Some experience in tax planning & forecasting.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
