Position Summary:

Juntos Program is an experienced educational professional assisting the Lead Teacher with the daily operations of planning, carrying out classroom activities and maintaining the classroom environment. The Assistant Teacher may all assist in planning, record keeping and other classroom related duties.

Location: Northfield, NJ

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Treats colleagues and students as individuals with respect and dignity. This individual promotes and provides culturally competent client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities, cultures and other diversity-related factors.
• All required programmatic paperwork is completed thoroughly and accurately within specific timeframes as designated by program design.
• Attends all required staff meetings, program and Center For Family Services activities.
• Conducts self as a role model in interactions with staff, colleagues and funding sources in accordance with Center For Family Services' Code of Ethics and Residential Boundaries and Guidelines
• Contributes to the overall development of the Agency.
• Responsible for understanding Juntos Performance Standards, along with local, state and federal regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate Degree in ECE or related field is preferred
• 1-year experience working in a classroom setting
• 1-year experience working with minors
  
• Maintains First Aid and CPR
• Pass ORR Background Check
