The Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, and the staff at Carmelite Child Development Center are dedicated to providing children a home away from home where they receive a mother’s love. Our program creatively balances the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual aspects of development while being adapted to each child’s natural abilities and tendencies. Responsibilities:

Responsible for the care and supervision of the preschool classroom in accord with the goals and curriculum plan of the Center. The Assistant Teacher provides support and assistance to the Lead Teacher in implementing childcare programs that meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each child, while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination in a safe, loving, Catholic learning environment.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Catholic faith and/or willing to learn and impart the Catholic Faith in the classroom.

Previous experience in Early Childhood or child care experience preferred.

8:30 AM- 5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Carmelite Child Development Center is EOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
