Summary of Position

As we grow, we are seeking experienced teachers across a variety of subject areas to join our vibrant learning community for the upcoming school year. Positions include

• Elementary teachers
• Mathematics (Middle/High School grades)
• Language & Literature (Middle/High School Grades)
• Science (Middle & High School Grades),
• Computer Science
• Music

Teachers must be committed to delivering high quality academic instruction, be an advocate for the school’s mission as well as curricular and philosophical commitments, collaborate with the school leadership team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, and foster a collaborative and innovative learning community that promotes academic excellence in a supportive and diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 2+ years of teaching experience. International Baccalaureate experience highly desirable
• Certified to teach in MD, DC or VA or is willing to gain certification
• Demonstrates strong writing and communication skills, a capacity for organization and follow-through, collaboration, and flexibility.
• Has a growth mindset and a commitment to meeting the needs of every student.
• Is committed to his/her own learning and professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
