Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

This position serves as a technical aide and provides assistance to technologists with procedures and patient flow. As aTechnologist Aideyou will have the opportunity to:

• Greet, register, and verify all patient information. Assist team members by notifying patient arrival. Communicate delays in appointments in a timely fashion and offers rescheduling for timely and effective care of patients;
• Obtain proper insurance/authorizations and patient information, collects signatures and ensures accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
• Collects and logs all co-pays and fees.
• Answers/ transfers incoming phone calls.
• Schedules, reschedules or cancels new or current patients, confirms appointments and notifies staff of changes when necessary.
• Enters accurate information in the system.
• Pre-register, submit reports and document clinical data as needed for appointment, and requests films as needed.
• Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provides directions to facilities if needed.

We're looking for dependable and professional candidatesfor medical administrative assistant jobs at RadNet. Applicants must have a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of previous medical office experience, intermediate computer skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication and patient care skills! Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office work experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $15 - $24.30 / hour
