Position:
You will be providing a range of support to the Senior Technical Manager to help facilitate the successful and timely resolutions of technical issues.
Liaising with sub contractors, channel partners, and our internal support teams to resolve technical issues and support installations.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Providing technical assistance and training to other engineers or sub-contractors including channel partners.
- Provide technical assistance to resolve any issues during the configuration and commissioning phases.
- Liaise with suppliers on technical issues during the installation process providing clear written communication of any issues
- Providing regular feedback (written and verbal) to Senior Technical Manager regarding all projects under his control.
- Identify and provide training requirements for sub-contractors .
- Working closely with customers to ensure a professional and efficient service is provided at all times.
- Carry out site surveys prior to proposals being generated
- Provide technical assistance to sale teams.
Requirements:
This role would be ideal for someone with experience in any of the following Fire, Security, Warden Call, Service, Telecoms technician.
Requirements
- Electronic Engineering experience desired
- Strong Customer Service focus
- An education to either GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
- Logical thinker who is able to multi-task and prioritise their own work load.
- An ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential, as is, a “can do” attitude, and a positive and flexible approach.
- Excellent time management and planning
- Good communicator and influencer
- Ability to prioritise / multi task / problem solve
- Ability to work as part of a team and individual
- Reliable with a flexible approach
