The vdR Group is looking for a Technical Project Manager to help with our growing demand for integration services. The Technical PM demonstrates the best-in-class Project Management skills in project planning, driving execution, tracking progress, introducing new or improved processes, and supporting software release or project completion on time (typically 1-3 months project life cycle) and in budget.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Excellent Project Management in organizing project planning: scope (priority), resources, and timeline. Keep good records of the planning for easy communication (Gantt charts, meeting minutes etc.).
- Drive project execution by tracking project status, Agile sprint status (where applicable), milestones, risks. Hold regular project meetings to track deliveries, mitigate risks, and promote cross team information sharing.
- Manage projects, (internal/external) for customers and partners.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to collect requirements for a system or product.
- Ability to work with and manage technical resources.
Required Experience and Skills
- Technical Education - BS in computer related field or equivalent experience in software development, application interface, or DBMS.
- 3+ years of experience in technical project management.
- Agile project management experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain technical jargon to end users.
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Excellent presentation skills including PPT, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD).
- Requirements gathering.
- Proposal development.
- Skilled in demos and user training a plus.
- Knowledgeable with PLM/PDM Systems and Engineering CAD data is a plus.
- Skill or experience with hub applications, e.g. (Jitterbit, Boomi, Mulesoft, etc.) that allow communication between systems.
- Knowledgeable with technical systems such as Dev Ops, Jira, Source Save, SharePoint, and MS Project.
- Technical experience that enables you to work with developers:
- Experience with SQL, used for interacting with data held in a relational database.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as, Java, C#, XML/HTML, C++.
- PM Certification is a plus.

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 annual salary DOE
Position type: REMOTE (full-time). Candidates physically located in the Eugene, Oregon area are a plus.
