Job description
F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time HVAC Technical Support for it's Southern NY & Tristate Area.
Responsibilities:
- Field technical support phone calls from both contractors and FW Webb employees
- Maintain a broad knowledge of both commercial and residential HVAC systems
- Job site visits as required to field support our contractors with trouble shooting
- Assisting with job site start-ups as needed
- Must be capable of going up on roofs with contractors
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Participate in company and factory provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
- Ability to deliver technical training in a classroom environment
Qualifications:
- 10 years of HVAC residential and commercial service experience
- Complete understanding of refrigerant circuits and basic electric
- Strong trouble shooting skills to include electrical and mechanical systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Must possess a high level of customer service
- Able to work within a team environment
- Strong PC skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and our CRM
- EPA certification required
