The Shipping/Receiving and Distribution Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for performing the physical and administrative functions required to ship, receive, store, cycle count and distribute materials, parts, supplies, chemicals, and equipment.

This position is part of the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Department located in Chaska, MN and will be located onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Hardware Materials Team and report to the Advanced Technician Shipping/Receiving/Distribution responsible for receiving and distributing parts to the mfg. lines. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Pick, receive, distribute, and put away parts in correct pre-determined locations.

  • Perform daily 5S tasks to ensure lab safety and audit readiness.

  • Proactively Find and resolve safety issues.

  • Perform delivery routes as a backup driver.

  • Assist with Kaizen/ Continuous Improvement Projects.

  • Work with a diverse team to achieve daily schedules.

  • Perform basic problem solving to help resolve issues.

  • Perform Inventory duties such as cycle count of inventory

The essential requirements of the job include

  • High school degree (or equivalent degree).

  • 2+ years experience in warehouse or mfg. environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Reach truck operation (Standing Forklift and scissor lifts).

  • Computer skills (Excel, Oracle, Word, and Outlook)
