Swanson Rink’s growing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team designs the telecommunications infrastructure that supports all of the IP based equipment, connections and technology throughout a building, or campus environment. This supports video surveillance, access control, audio video, wireless and network infrastructure.

Swanson Rink’s team focuses on design for airports, data centers and commercial buildings and work with some of the most advanced clients in the industry. Your Job Responsibilities:

• Design telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. This includes detailed internal building layouts, as well as exterior campus connectivity.
• Create electronic security systems including Video Surveillance and Analytics, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection.
• Design specifications, configuration, and commissioning of large scale local, integrated, and network-based systems.
• Provide construction oversite, including specification and contract drawing compliance, conducting site visits, formulating construction observation reports, review of Submittals, RFIs, test results and substitution requestions.
• Stay up to date on the latest technology and trends in the industry.

Your Requirements and Qualifications:

• Construction field experience with low voltage cabling systems from an Installation or Project Management perspective.
• Must be available to travel occasionally.
• Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

What Puts You a Step Ahead:

• Consulting engineering and/or telecom experience.
• Working knowledge of industry standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE and all relevant telecommunication standards.
• BICSI Certified Installer
• BICSI RCDD
• BICSI DCDC

Salary range of $70,000 - $95,000+ and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
