Teller
What you will do…
- Process member's transactions, pay out funds, and verify cash.
- Process deposits, check holds, withdrawals, money orders and cashier checks.
- Identify counterfeit currency.
- Manage a cash drawer (or Cash Recycler) and assist in daily branch balancing.
- Answer member questions and resolves issues and problems.
- Perform account maintenance and limited research requests (such as statement copies)
- Input domestic wire transfer requests.
- Actively update member’s contact information to maintain accuracy.
- Set up and modify EFT records for payroll distribution.
- Open Secondary Share accounts
- Process mail deposits.
- Verify cash shipments and vault buy/sell transactions under dual control.
- Assist with reviewing transaction history, balance inquiries, other member inquiries.
- Answer inbound member calls.
- Offer products and services (cross-selling) to help members save time and money.
- Comply with all credit union policies and applicable regulations.
What you need…
- Commitment to an exceptional member experience
- At least 1-2 years of relevant cash handling experience (retail, restaurant, bank etc)
- High school diploma or equivalency
