Pierce Middle School

7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

(To include 5 days following close of school)

Temporary position available immediately with an estimated termination date of June 9, 2023 (may be before or after).

CLASSIFICATION: Category I / Class B (Bump Up Compensation Per Contract Language)

$13.24-18.41/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Internal applicants must have passed Clerical Basics & Skyward exams.
• External applicants must pass Clerical Basics & Skyward exams within the probationary period.
• Demonstrates ability to work well with students, staff, parents and community
• Has a positive outlook toward the school system, the school and its stakeholders
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exhibits a pleasant disposition
• Time management & organizational skills are essential
• Successful interview with Building Administration

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Has frequent contact with students, parents, teachers, and other school personnel.
• Enter all discipline into Skyward
• Provide Discipline Data Reports to Administration upon request
• Create and maintain lists for After School Detentions, Friday Schools, In-School Suspensions, and Out of School Suspensions
• Communicate Suspension Lists with necessary Pierce staff
• Request assignments for suspended students (ISS and OSS)
• Assist in contacting parents regarding the assignment of student discipline when necessary.
• Follow up with students and parents regarding no show to detentions.
• Assist detention supervisor when necessary
• All other duties as directed by Administration
