The New Jersey Turnpike Authority maintains and operates two of the most heavily traveled roads in the United States - the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. These roads provide a critical link in the transportation system of the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and classify tolls (currency, tickets, and other) from patrons.
• Account for personally collected or assigned funds.
• Maintain good public relations with patrons.
• Maintain assigned property owned by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
• Perform all other functions and tasks as described by the Toll Collector's Manual or as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a New Jersey Driver's License and have access to reliable transportation.
• Must be a resident of New Jersey.

Please Note: The job duties of the position above requires a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to move within a fifty (50) mile radius when on duty. If hired, I understand and agree to maintain a valid driver’s license and report to/from work in a reliable vehicle should I be required to move within the field as directed by management.
