Overview

SCCI is seeking a candidate with enthusiasm and a passion to train to join our team as a Training Specialist. In this position, you will provide instructor-led training, curriculum development, and subject matter expertise for a Tactical Tomahawk shipboard training program. This position is located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Tactical Tomahawk Operations and Maintenance training
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) services to documentation and courseware developers
• Develop curricula for Tomahawk Fire Control men and Officers
• Provide Tomahawk support community and training centers with technical advice on system operation and maintenance
• Assist training centers with configuring and maintaining Tomahawk training laboratories and classrooms

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience directly related to developing curricula and providing operator and maintenance training for major weapons systems
• TTWCS NEC V20A - Navy NEC 9502
• Ability to collect and analyze source data for the purpose of developing curricula and course materials
• Must have strong writing and verbal communication skills in order to successfully contribute in a team environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• U.S. Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
• Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) experience
• Familiar with Navy standard NAVEDTRA 130 and 131
• TTWCS NEC V41A
• Mission Distribution System (MDS) NEC 2778
• GCCS-M NEC 0340/0342 - Satellite Communications / Tomahawk Strike Network (TSN) experience
