Pamlico Air a MANN + HUMMEL company, has an immediate opening for a Traffic Coordinator. The Traffic Coordinator will route shipments, schedule pickups, handle shipping documents and audit outbound orders in compliance with company policy/procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Prepare paperwork, including but not limited to; pick tickets, bills of lading, packing lists, pallet contents

- Participate in all shipping functions as needed, order audit, placarding, small package shipments

- Communicate with trucking companies regarding pickups and scheduling.

- Coordinate loads to ensure economical spend without sacrificing service to our customers.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years shipping experience

- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize and work well under time pressure

- Experience with scanned pick and shipment preparation

- Computer proficiency utilizing ERP system and software including MS Office products

- Knowledge of LTL shipment routing, classification of freight

- Solid verbal and written communication skills

- Forklift/inventory experience a plus

Physical Factors:

- Must be able to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment with exposure to hot/cold temperatures and dust.

- Will perform physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and moving your body to lift, reach, walk, stoop and handling finished goods.

- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
