Description:This position is responsible for all clinical aspects of the clients/members served. This position is charged with the management of various staff to include, but not limited to, Transitional Services Case Managers and Wellness Case Managers. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of client care activities as directed by the department Director, Clinical Officer, and/or CEO, COO.
? Leads employees within their direct reporting structure who are responsible for daily clinical operational activities of the facility and organization by ensuring that quality client centered care is delivered in an efficient work environment.
? Manages/supervises clients throughout – balances client care activities while overseeing the delivery of client care, coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
? Collaborates with COO, Chief Clinical Officer, Director of Clinical Operations, or Department Manager to lead, create and maintain an environment that advocates for staff and promotes individual/team engagement through clinical/administrative expertise and professional leadership.
? Achieves department/organization outcomes – aligns and manages to organization metrics.
? Takes active interest and accountability for key operational functions including but not limited to, client safety issues, timely resolution of complaints, quality improvement initiatives, survey preparation, and client satisfaction follow-up.
? Takes responsibility and ensures accountability across the department to adhere to department/organization policies and procedures, compliance, and regulatory agency requirements.
? Establishes professional relationships with compassion and respect for human dignity, and the uniqueness of individuals, while demonstrating a primary commitment to the client in advocating for client privacy, health, safety, and rights.
? Supports a work environment that focuses on staff, customer, and client/family through safe and effective communication.
? Serves as a daily operational resource to staff and in the management of supplies, equipment, tools, and resources to fulfill job responsibilities.
? Collaborate professionally with courtesy and tact when interacting with the leadership team, employees, and clients.
? Performs other duties as assigned by management or administration.
Additional Duties:
? Manage and supervise, either directly or indirectly, all employees who are part of the department.
? Complete all Supervisor or Manager duties related to employee HR, payroll, staffing, or performance management.
? Review documentation of staff for quality assurance and training needs of clinical staff.
? Meeting individually with supervised staff and in weekly team meetings.
? Manage transportation/appointment calendars for client transportation needs in collaboration with department employees who are responsible for this function. This may include occasional transportation of members/clients, if needed.
? Manage intake calendar for assignment of drivers as needed for institutional pickups in coordination with department employees who are responsible for this function.
? Oversee placement programs and resources as well as employment programs and resources that are provided by the Transitional Services department and case managers.
? Monitor staff productivity and complete employment improvement plans or corrective action plan in partnership with HR, as necessary.
? Work with community stakeholders and organizational leaders on special projects related to delivery of client services.
? Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Supervisory and Manager roles is total of 500 minutes per week of encounters with clients/members including documentation.

Qualifications:
? Supervisory experience in monitoring staff performance and providing direction, coaching, recognition, counseling, and disciplinary action as appropriate utilizing organizational processes and in alignment with company culture and values.
? Collaborates with other department team members to maintain effective communication channels by gathering and exchanging information, obtaining solutions to problems, and coordinating services to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
? Utilizes the organizational structure and cross functional collaboration to communicate in real time client care, staff, family, and visitor concerns and outcomes.
? Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
? Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm; must be punctual and accountable.
Education Requirements:
? Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a behavioral health setting
? AA or BA degree preferred
? Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred for Manager level
? Excellent computer skills or aptitude to learn – KIPU, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
