We are currently seeking a Translation/Localization Specialist for the Creative Services team. This position is in San Francisco, CA where the Ubisoft Creative Services is headquartered. The Creative Services Department (UCS) is responsible for producing a wide variety of assets used to support marketing campaigns for Ubisoft products. Within UCS, the Project Management (PM) Team is responsible for driving the creation of digital and print materials by organizing the efforts of an in-house creative team, along with external resources as needed. They guide projects from initiation to final delivery by partnering with Brand, Retail Marketing, and other internal teams.

This person’s primary job is to manage translation projects for printed and online materials including packaging for 1st Parties and digital assets for social media and Online Retailers, from execution through delivery, working closely with local Brand and cross-functional teams. This person will work with language specialists and manage global translation requests for Ubisoft territories. This person may also be responsible for managing a wide variety of assets used to support marketing campaigns for Ubisoft products.

This person should be highly motivated and extremely well organized. It is the Translation/Localization Specialists’ responsibility to ensure all scheduled dates and approvals for deliverables are met and communicate with management when projects are off track.

What you’ll do

• Proactively manage flow of localized packaging and marketing assets for global territories, working closely with internal marketing teams, Creative Services and other departments as required along with global counterparts to meet specific static and digital asset releases

• Monitor translation requests from internal clients, working closely with external translation agencies and local territories to make sure all jobs are delivered on time

• Follow specific workflows to create a localized asset, manage time, resources and quality control

• Collaborate with the following teams: Project Management, Graphic Production, Copy Editing, Manufacturing, and Art Directors to get the work created and approved

• Closely monitor and maintain daily status reports of projects, attend weekly Round Table meetings to update group on project status

What you’ll bring:

• Professional experience directly related to project management/oversight in an advertising agency or related marketing environment

• Ability to drive multiple tasks and requests at one given time

• Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment

• Base to mid-level experience in localization of marketing materials

The San Francisco base salary range for this contract position is $25 to $30/hour. The base pay offered may vary based on a candidate’s geographic region, qualifications, skills and experience among other factors. Compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, stock options, or benefits.
