Seasonal Pay Starting at $17/hr

The Driver will be responsible for providing transport to High Hampton employees to and from the Western Carolina University campus in Cullowhee to High Hampton property in Cashiers. The Driver will also be responsible for the cleanliness and routine maintenance of High Hampton shuttle bus. The driver will provide a safe, clean, and friendly experience for all employees that are transported in High Hampton transportation vehicles.

This position requires a flexible schedule as hours may require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Strong self-motivator and ability to motivate others
Review daily schedules to determine employee transportation needs
Provide safe transportation for employees utilizing the shuttle
Maintain a calm & courteous attitude to ensure employee satisfaction
Ability to effectively communicate accurate information to other team members
Observe property for cleanliness and all is in order
Assist with vehicles, parking, and pulling around
Ensure that employee shuttle interior is thoroughly cleaned daily and exterior is washed often to keep it looking clean
Maintain safe speeds on roadways based on weather
Follow instructions from your direct supervisor
Greet employees in a positive and polite manner
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Maintain a courteous, flexible, and positive attitude
Be familiar with all of High Hampton past, present & future
Secondary duties to provide transportation for guests as needed, including travel to the airport

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid Class B Commercial Drivers License with a P endorsement

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and managers

REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit and drive a company vehicle for 90% of shift
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle

WORK ENVIRONMENT
1,400 acres of High Hampton
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
