Huston Electric, Inc.—Traveling Electrical Project Manager

Huston Electric, Inc. is a 4th generation, family-owned business that specializes in electrical contracting and service since 1939. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with 8-10 years in Electrical Project Management that is willing to travel to jobsites across the Midwest for long periods of time. We are offering a salary of ($65 to $75K), based on experience and education along with a yearly PM Bonus after the first year. We offer a very good benefit package which includes 128 hours of PTO, paid holidays, 401 (K) match, pension, medical, dental, life and vision coverage, monthly per diem, fuel card, and a vehicle allowance for a full-time employee.

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Management or similar degree is preferred.
• 8-10 years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
• Experience in Accubid, PlanGrid/ Procore is preferred. We will take into consideration other types of project management software.
• Be able to communicate and work with a team of project managers, accounting department, general contractors, and engineers on projects.
• Ability to control, manage, communicate, and redirect manpower as needed in skillful manner.
• Managed multiple projects ranging from $250K to $10M.

• MS Office computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• General skills: problem solving, customer service, time management, understand verbal & written instructions and willingness to learn a variety of duties.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and back—ground check.
