Job description

Looking for an experienced Trim Carpenter with at least 7 years of experience to join our team! As a Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and finishing decorative elements and trim work in residential settings, including advanced or complicated trim details. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent craftsmanship skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

• Install and finish decorative trim work, such as baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, and other advanced or complicated trim details.
• Measure and cut materials to the desired length and shape, ensuring precise fits.
• Use hand and power tools to shape and trim materials.
• Follow blueprints and building plans to ensure accurate installation.
• Work with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper placement of trim work around fixtures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with the finished product.
• Be open to working overtime hours when necessary.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of proven experience as a Trim Carpenter.
• Solid understanding of construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Own transportation and tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
