Job description
Under limited supervision, the Operations Associate will be responsible for effectively managing workload, including customer service requests from wholesalers, financial professionals, Broker Dealers, RIA's, Registered Reps, and IAR's. Provide proactive communication by applying knowledge of carriers’ websites, products, procedures. Successfully influences business results by establishing and maintaining effective relationships, ensuring a high degree of productivity and quality. Accountable for accurately applying knowledge of all carriers’ websites, products, procedures, and resources while adhering to established metrics, guidelines, procedures, and regulations. Uses sound judgement to make the appropriate decisions for the financial professionals, customer's and TruChoice.
Job Description
The Operations Associate, Contract Licensing will respond to and process requests by applying department knowledge as well as individual carrier guidelines and requirements. Follows established practices and standards while meeting or exceeding quality and service levels. Builds and maintains customer relationships by demonstrating effective communication and interactions. Influences business results by providing proactive customer service, education, and communication. Provide customized service and takes ownership as needed. Responsible for ensuring that all financial professionals are aware of operational processes and changes. Deepens knowledge of carrier processes, procedures, and resources. Understands third party vendors including but not limited to FireLight, SureLC and RegEd.

- Effectively manage workload in a face paced environment.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up to date documentation, requirements, and status in internal system.
- Proactively and effectively communicate requirements and status updates to financial professional and sales staff.
- Successfully influence business results by establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Respond timely and effectively to inquiries.
- Answer calls.
- Maintain knowledge of carrier websites, products, procedures and FireLight/SureLC.
- Adhere to established quality standards while maintaining expected level of productivity.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of desktop applications such as outlook, word and excel.
