SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team in Dillsburg, PA. This person will be responsible for transporting and hauling equipment and supplies from one location to another.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Complies with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations
- Maintains driving log/records according to state and federal regulations
- Secures all loads according to state and federal regulations
- Completes pre-post trip vehicle inspection reports
- On a daily basis, will drive a manual Lowboy Truck
- Follows schedule for pick-ups and deliveries
- Clearly communicates with Operations team
- Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures
- Keeps the interior and exterior of truck clean
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team
- Performs other general labor duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Commercial Driver’s License A is required
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Must have and maintain a clear driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Understands oral and written instructions
- Possesses a good sense of direction
- Must be reliable with the ability to work overtime as needed
- Experience with construction equipment is a plus
