Searching for a dependable caregiver. Full time or part time hours available. Hours are 9am - 5pm, Tuesday - Saturday. You will be working in a safe, friendly, and clean environment, in a home on the North side of Bloomington, IN.

Job Responsibilities:

• Companionship is essential component of this position, the clients are inviting caregivers into their home and are expecting a friendly, inviting face.
• The caregiver must provide constant safety and supervision while with the client, i.e., helping with transfers, stand by assistance, and assistance with personal care.
• Tidying up the client’s home and helping with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the client’s home environment neat, safe, and comforting.
• Support and engage the clients in meaningful ways, whether this be in conversation, exercise, or simply being there for their comfort.
• Preparing snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client.
• Monitoring and documenting client activities, i.e., medication reminders, exercises completed, and any changes in health conditions.
• Providing care in unison to ensure the client has a team of caregivers dedicated towards their safety and needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience – If you have at least one year of personal care experience, great! But if not, we are dedicated to helping you learn and grow into this position.
• Skills – We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, empathetic, trustworthy, service-minded, patient, and have great interpersonal communication skills.
• Characteristics – You will be successful in this position if you are self-motivated, willing to learn, dependable, and communicate well. This is an autonomous position, so we are looking for individuals who are proactive.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour

Daily COVID screening questionnaire for all clients and caregivers. PPE provided.
