Ultrasound Technologist (Call Only - Easy $$$)
Job description
Oneida Health Hospital is offering a unique on-call position for Ultrasound Technologist. As an on-call-only position, you will receive a weekly rate of $1,500 to be on-call for emergent or urgent cases in our Emergency Department. Over the past year, this averages 2.95 calls per week. For on-call cases, you receive mileage and an hourly rate for a minimum of 2 hours. All applicants must live within one hour of Oneida Health Hospital.
Days/Hours Scheduled: 7on/7off: Mon-Fri 9 pm-6 am, Saturday and Sunday
What You’ll be Great At:
- Using your attention to detail and keen observation skills to evaluate images for technical and diagnostic quality.
- Having a customer service attitude while interacting with patients regarding procedures.
- Maintaining equipment and work area to hospital standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Focusing on safety standards in operating equipment.
- Maintaining and recording appropriate documentation regarding procedures according to established protocols.

Your Essential Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate (Preferred)
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program (Required)
- Certification:
- RDMS Certification required
- CPR/BLS certified
- RVT, BR, or NT certification is a plus!
- Experience
- 1+ year experience preferred, but not required.
