Luther Crest, A Diakon Lutheran Senior Living Community — Located near Allentown, Pennsylvania, Luther Crest is a large Continuing Care Retirement Community offering luxury apartments and a development of homes for older adults, as well as skilled nursing and personal care units to meet residents’ health-care needs. Luther Crest’s new Wellness Center includes a spa and indoor heated pool. In 2014, extensive renovations occurred to the community’s personal care and health care centers, including the development of personal care memory-support services. The Luther Crest campus is nationally accredited as an arboretum. In 2017, the community began an innovative program to assist independent living residents and others who help to care for loved ones with memory-related illnesses. The effort includes supportive programming, education for families and specialized training for staff members.

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing a variety of duties to maintain resident care, unit order and organization.
- Performs clerical duties to maintain organized work station to allow healthcare staff to focus on patient care.
- Effectively communicates resident and family concerns to nursing and management staff for resolution and follow up.
Education/Training: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.
Experience: Experience with electronic health record management and familiar with medical terminology preferred.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
