ATTENTION UPSCALE PERSONAL SHOPPER AND FASHION STYLISTS

Planet Bardot is a high energy upscale boutique that is frequently visited by specific affluent clientele that comes to Planet Bardot for all their wardrobe needs.

Stylist's hourly and commission compensation is $40 to $60 per hour, depending on the experience. Unlike boring and unfulfilling jobs with other retailers, Planet Bardot is a fast and high traffic boutique in a fun part of town that keeps you busy and satisfied. Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced personal stylists to provide on-demand personal styling services. Stylists will curate custom head-to-toe outfits for customers seeking expert fashion advice. The individual will be wearing two hats at the same time, and besides sales and styling responsibilities, the stylists will be doing some office duties as well. This is a full-time position ( 36 to 38 hours per week).

Basic Stylist Qualifications

• Must be a TEAM PLAYER.

• Exceptional presentation skills.
• A creative-thinker.
• Has the ability to populate a high volume of new content ideas.
• Highly organized. Has the ability to work on many projects with moving timelines.
• Minimum 3 years for professional personal shopper or fashion styling, or 5 years upscale boutique retail experience.
• Up-to-date on the latest industry trends.
• Passionate about style and helping others achieve their best look.
• Commitment to quality and responsiveness.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have a High School diploma, but a college degree preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for office responsibilities

• Data entry of product in our inventory system
• Receive inventory and process for the e-commerce and sales floor.
• Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise
• Professional and enthusiastic team player, with a demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
• Creates multiple options based on customer's preferred vendors, needs, style, and personality
• Provide personalized recommendations and one-on-one consultations with clients
• Delivers customer weekly and monthly style advice and be available for personal shopping requests
• Offers to place the customers' orders based on their recommendations
• Independently resolves internal and external customer questions and concerns
• Consistently seeks new fashion and product knowledge
• Styling, fashion and/or fashion retail experience is preferred
• Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Any additional duties and responsibilities including projects, tasks, and activities as required
• Excellent communications skills in English in writing and in speaking.

Technical Requirements

• Must have the minimum computer skills required to learn our inventory management program and strong working knowledge of Office applications including Word, Excel
• Must have common knowledge of taking photos for Instagram
• Demonstrate minimum knowledge to edit photos (we can train)
• Preferred knowledge of how to calculate the discount, mark up, margins, etc.
• Can type at least 30 wpm

Preferred Qualification

• Strong contacts within the fashion space.
• Experience with social media and influencers.
• Experience with mass campaigns.
• A proven track record for developing original content programs and leading brainstorms.
• Independently resolves internal and external customer questions and concerns.
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years' experience in styling in the fashion industry.
• A book of previous styling work, both on-and-off figure. Must be comfortable with Windows or Mac
