Position: Logistics Center Security Officer
Reports to: Loss Prevention Supervisor
Location: Reno, NV
Pay: Based on qualifications

Candidate should be a motivated team player with good attitude and possess organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers, and management. Candidate must also be flexible in work hours including overtime.

Primary Responsibilities

• Be available: Support DC Management on all LP / Safety issues.
• Be resourceful: Respond to complex and emergency events as required.
• Be diligent: Perform associate check in and check out processes at designated times.
• Be approachable: Build a strong rapport with associates and leadership.
• Be precise: Maintain accurate records of incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.
• Be flexible: All other duties assigned based on business needs

Experience

• High School Degree or GED required.
• 0-1 years of Loss Prevention / Safety experience; preferred with First Aid / CPR training
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of security equipment preferred (CCTV, Alarm Systems, and Access Control)
