Caltrol is Hiring a Valve Technician Trainee in Santa Fe Springs, CA!
Caltrol, Inc is looking for a full-time Valve Technician Trainee to join our Pressure Management Group. Our ideal candidate has strong attention to details, an excellent driving record and must have some demonstrable mechanical aptitude.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Pick up and Delivery of valves
- Sandblasting valves
- Teardown and Cleanup of valves
- Lapping, Assembly, Tagging, Sealing procedures and pre and post-testing valves
- Learning industry terminology and Traveler write-up process
Skills:
- Attention to detail; we work in a zero tolerance for error industry
- Good memorization skills
- Good physical strength
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills: MS Outlook and the ability to navigate and comprehend basic applications
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent driving record and current driver’s license
- Must be available for occasional overtime, including weekends and out of state
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and be subject to random testing
Preferred:
- Trade school or history of demonstrable mechanical aptitude
- Good attitude and motivated to learn a trade
