Join the Hazelwood team as a Venue Representative!

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be available to work all weekend events (approximately 25 weddings) from July through November 2023
• Ability to work two wedding days back-to-back (i.e. Friday and Saturday)
• Must be able to work a full 14-hour day from 9:00 a.m. up until all teardown/cleanup has takenplace and all vendors are off the property (11 p.m. at the latest)
• Must have reliable transportation to Hazelwood in New Oxford, PA
• Must be comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the day
• Must be available to start training in May and/or June before position begins in July
• This position is for 2023 weddings. 2024 responsibilities and assignment TBD.

Responsibilities:

• Position is for the day of the event only and does not require any pre-planning or floor plan setup.
• You will be the sole Venue Representative on the event day, overseeing venue operations, greeting and assisting guests, maintaining venue standards for the entire event rental, andfulfilling other duties as assigned.
• You will work alongside the Wedding Planner (this position is NOT a wedding planner orcoordinator) to assist with tasks throughout the day including decor set up and tear down, movingdecor, assisting guests and vendors, moving furniture and boxes, etc.
• You will perform moderate venue maintenance (i.e. sweeping, cleaning up spills, restocking thebathrooms, watering flower pots, removing trash from preparation suites during the event, etc.).
• You will be familiar with all Hazelwood policies and procedures in order to answer venue-relatedquestions and enforce Hazelwood’s policies and procedures.
