Holly Springs Veterinary Hospital Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Responsibilities
- Taking histories and providing initial client education
- Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
- Care of hospitalized patients
- Daily callbacks to clients
- Restraining patients
- Assisting in taking radiographs
- Giving IV & IM injections
- Dispensing controlled drugs
- Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
- Performing cytology’s
- Monitor Surgical procedures
- Lab Diagnostics
- Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
- Performing routine cleaning
Requirements and Qualifications
· At least 1-year related experience
· Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills
· Positive attitude
· Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment
· Cornerstone experience a plus
