Corporate and Firmwide Employee Communications is an integral function within JPMorgan Chase, focused on reinforcing our culture and keeping employees informed and engaged with the firm's priorities and diverse businesses. The team is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, key stakeholders and other communications managers across the company and utilizes a variety of engagement channels and tools. Among these are intranet sites, the employee newspaper, digital signage, email messages, internal exhibits, learning sessions and large and small employee meetings.

As the Vice President-Internal Communications Manager, Global Technology within Corporate and Firmwide Employee Communications organization, you will lead communications for Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption. You will be responsible for supporting and working with senior technology leadership, developing strategic communication strategies and creating content that produces employee engagement and increases knowledge of major programs and initiatives within the 55+K technology organization and across JPMorgan Chase. You will be a part of a team in a unique role within Global Technology Communications team with a diverse set of responsibilities that offers the opportunity to influence and produce broader employee communications and engagement efforts related to new and emerging technologies on behalf of the Chief Technology Office.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed multi-channel communication strategies with defined audiences and measurable results that support the firm's Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption initiative.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, communications lead and strategic advisor for the co-heads of the Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption organization.
  • Write and distribute targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, technology and innovation success stories, people-related communications, organization announcements, as well as other timely business messages.
  • Organize and execute key employee and senior leadership meetings, including town halls, small group sessions and site visits.
  • Source, develop and deliver a steady and compelling communications content pipeline for employees (via intranet, email, collateral, video, talking points, articles, blogs, town halls etc.) consistent with objectives related to Global Technology's vision, values and objectives, as well as client specific goals and programs.
  • Maintain intranet content and design, and create communications-related graphics as needed: including presentations, print/web collateral, surveys, newsletters etc; track and analyze metrics to refine and improve ongoing tactics and/or to identify opportunities to implement new communications methodologies across clients.
  • Partner with Media Relations and Marketing to spotlight employees and technical content as appropriate

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 7-10 years of internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building and executive communications
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree
  • Experience working with C-suite executives with demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies; e xcellent writing skills with a strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications
  • Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines; o utstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility
  • A team player who regularly seeks to learn from key partners, learn new things and share best practices. A willingness to offer and ask for help as needed
  • Experience with Intranet design, other design software, content development, email management systems and collaboration and measurement tools; e xpertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
