The Department of Mathematics at New York Tech invites applications for a one-year Visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start on 9/1/2023. The candidate must have received a Ph.D. in any branch of Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics before joining date. Primary teaching responsibilities will be located at the Old Westbury, Long Island campus. Responsibilities:
A doctoral degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics is required. Candidate must demonstrate excellent teaching and preferably have prior teaching experience at a university employing pedagogical strategies. Preference will be given to those candidates with a record of scholarly activities. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
