Bryant Park Corporation and 34th Street Partnership seeks a Lead Visitor Service Representative. The two companies are award-winning not-for-profit Business Improvement Districts which share staff and offices, and a mission to improve the quality of the commercial, physical, and public space environments in each of their midtown Manhattan districts.
Ideal candidate understands NYC, is equally effective working independently and with groups, and are comfortable working on a variety of subjects. The successful candidate is expected to take on our mission quickly, be comfortable working non-traditional hours, and be confident in managing relationships and onsite events.
The Lead Visitor Services Representative reports to the Manager of Visitor Services. Hours are typically 9am-5:30pm with weekends required. Lead Visitor Services Representatives are exposed to all departments such as Tourist Info, Le Carrousel operations and our seasonal amenities such as the Reading Room and Kids Creative Corner.
The position is full-time with hourly pay. The successful candidate can expect a schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
· Lead our Visitor Services operations on weekends and assist supervisor on weekdays
· Provide daily assignments to staff as needed
· Assist in daily operations of the Visitor Services department
· Work extensively outdoors, interacting with park staff
· Keep up to date with the ins and outs of NYC to be an effective information source
· Department administrative duties such as data entry and maintaining spreadsheets
· Manage inventory and reporting needs
· Writing out daily reports
· Assist with daily operations for Le Carrousel in Bryant Park
Qualifications:
· Responsible, trustworthy, mature, proactive, and outgoing
· College graduate or in Senior + yr. of bachelor’s program
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Good background knowledge of NYC
· Possess a “no job too small” attitude
· Ability to keep an organized workplace
· Ability to take direction, but also adapt to changing situations as needed
