The Vice President of Sonepar USA E-Mobility is responsible for developing and leading the organization’s E-mobility and EV charging vision and strategy; build an organizational structure and competencies to support the growth of these segments.
Critical to the success of this role is guiding business development and active management of the procurement services for products sold within these segments. This cross-functional leadership role will collaborate across the organization, partner with key vendors to execute strategies, uncover strategic opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to drive incremental revenue across a multiple-year strategy.
This role reports to the West Region President and collaborates with OpCo Presidents and commercial leaders responsible for the EV Charging segment.
This is a fully remote opportunity with travel across the United States between 20-30%.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with Regional and OpCo Presidents and VP of National Accounts to create, drive, and execute market growth strategies and business development for EV Charging.- Define and drive a centralized EV Charging purchasing strategy.
- Determine core competencies and build OpCo EV Charging teams, products, and services capabilities.
- Partner with OpCo leaders and Learning specialists to build an educational curriculum designed for EV Charging. Develop the EV Charging capability and knowledge across Sonepar Associates.
- In collaboration with the Digital Enterprise team, create a Sonepar USA performance Scorecard inclusive of sales, margin, inventory, A/R, and Direct Pay Logistics Solutions.
- Build an organizational structure to support the business through indirect leadership for business development personnel at the OpCo level.
What You Bring:
8 + years of progressive advancement and demonstrated success in E-mobility and EV charging.- Commercial experience, customer and vendor facing.
- Advanced knowledge of EV Charging business segments from the perspective of suppliers, distributors, and customers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with Internal/External customers, and vendor partners
- Demonstrated understanding of legislative and political landscapes and issues that may impact the business and wider industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing meaningful goals and KPIs to measure performance
- Strong understanding of business intelligence and operational tools, i.e., Power BI and Playbooks, to measure the performance of sales, vendors, and the business segments
- Adaptable and agile in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to travel 20-30%
- Authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without employment sponsorship
