We are seeking a motivated and resilient individual to join our Surgical admission team at Westmoreland Street. This post will be maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months starting from February 2023.

This Ward Administrator position is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to be capable of working both independently and collaboratively to provide excellent service. They will establish good working relationships with key stakeholders within Westmoreland street.

The successful candidate will be confident in using multiple different Information Technology systems including Microsoft Office software.

The position is part-time working on-site with no option for working from home. The working hours are 3 days a week 7am- 3pm.

The Ward Administrator must possess excellent organisational skills in order to keep track of, and prioritise many conflicting tasks across a spectrum of importance and urgency.

They will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are seen through to conclusion or escalated where appropriate to the relevant senior staff. Good initiative will be required to find solutions to challenges and will ensure individual and departmental targets are met.
