Do you have experience moving long length material with a forklift? Can you back a trailer of any size? The M-D team could be the right place for you!

Job Objective:

Operate forklift and combi-Lift to pull orders and load/unload large trucks.

Essential Qualifications:

Pre-load truck by pulling all material on printed orders and staging.

Load and unload trailers with forklift.

Operate forklift moving large material such as 20ft. long, 24ft. long, etc.

Keep material organized and tidy on correct racks and locators.

Ability to load curtain-side, Conestoga style and hard side trailers safely with straps, standards, etc. to ensure there is no damage to material.

Receive verbal directions from others regarding material needs for various departments.

As required, perform related material handling functions in assigned work area and provide assistance to others when needed.

Assist in cycle counting.

Keep warehouse and dock area clean and organized.

Preferred Qualification:

Ability to spot trailers at dock for loading and unloading.

Basic computer skills.

Forklift certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
