1. Job summary

Perform maintenance and repairs on all facility equipment (conveyor system, pick-to-light system, forklifts, tape machines, compressors, etc.). Perform general building maintenance including but not limited to: plumbing, carpentry, painting, lighting, welding, HVAC, & ground maintenance.

2. Requirements

a. Must have minimum of 1 year experience as maintenance mechanic or willing to train.

c. Must have an excellent attendance records.

d. Must be self-motivated and able work with minimum supervision

e. High school graduate required, some college or trade school in electronics or computer related area preferred.

f. Must be license lift operator or pass lift training.

g. Able to work any shift and weekends when required.

h. Must be able to prioritize job assignments.

i. Must be able to use hand and power tools.

3. Responsibilities

a. Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on power conveyors, forklifts, Pick to Light system, Tape machines, etc.

b. Perform general building maintenance – plumbing repair, occasional projects requiring carpentry skill, welding, occasional electrical work, floor repair, rack repair, and misc. repairs when necessary.

c. Perform daily bailer maintenance.

d. Perform daily battery maintenance (changing, watering, & cleaning)

e. Clear conveyor jam when necessary.

f. Perform routine inspection of all equipment and make maintenance recommendations.

g. Assist, coordinate, and resolve all equipment/building related issues with other departments and/or contractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
