Overall Purpose

As a Warehouse Operative, you will stage, load, and unload, finished product and raw materials for shipping. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and attention to details as you will also be tasked with picking orders and maintaining an accurate and organized warehouse inventory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate forklifts as well as electric and manual pallet jacks
  • Load and unload pallets from trucks or ocean containers
  • Pull finished products from inventory for shipment
  • Prepare finished products for shipping - shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc.
  • Accurately manage the movement of products within the warehouse
  • Perform warehouse cycle counts on a routine basis
  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment
  • Make updates to the AS400 inventory system as required

Qualifications

  • Previous manual handling experience
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a busy warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong numerical skills for inventory purposes
  • Ability to use basic MS office software; advanced Microsoft office experience a plus
  • Forklift/pallet truck experience, preferred
  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred
