PURPOSE STATEMENT
Accomplish the receiving and shipping of all materials and finished goods under the responsibility of the Freezer Department of the Brunswick plant by performing certain assigned tasks while operating electric pallet jack, pallet riders, forklifts, and reach trucks. Contribute to the profit and well-being of the Company by performing tasks in a safe, efficient, quality-conscious, and cost-conscious manner and by working in a cooperative manner with his/her supervisor and co-workers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Operating Hi-Lift, pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.
- Maintains storage facilities (Cooler, freezer and dry warehouses) in an organized manner at all times.
- Receives and delivers stock to assigned areas.
- Good housekeeping skills.
- Completes general work as assigned to Warehouse.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Prior work experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts in a warehousing/manufacturing setting.
Good work performance, attendance, punctuality, work habits, personal hygiene.
GED/High School Diploma
Must have excellent vision and depth perception and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Minimum of three (3) months experience in the safe operation of industrial lift trucks (preferred but not required).
Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures (-10 degrees to room temperature)
