Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Shipping Lead to join our team and take our Shipping department to the next level. As a Warehouse Shipping Lead you will be responsible for the shipping team and ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling and shipping a variety of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Process outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare orders for shipping by packing and labeling items
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
• Properly communicate with, and lead other shipping and warehouse staff
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate needs to management in order to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or shipping role
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and operate equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to guide other employees and manage tasks
• Familiarity with shipping software such as UPS Worldship and computer systems in general.
