The Supply Chain Department has an opening for Training Manager. This position is located in Tracy, CA.
As a Warehouse Training Manager, you will plan, organize, direct, and oversee all warehouse training programs for facility of responsibility; ensure that training programs fulfill operational needs and objectives; manage, guide, and develop training staff; create and maintain a positive learning environment; and ensure staff members and trainees adhere to all established safety standards, regulations, and performance guidelines.
- Supervise warehouse floor operations to ensure maintenance of training design, and that first line leaders are receiving proper instruction.
- Appraise, motivate, and direct staff to ensure efficient operations using a professional and positive approach.
- Develop goals, objectives, and career development plans for staff members.
- Monitor, document, analyze and evaluate effectiveness of training program and make any necessary adjustments.
- Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training
- Identify gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety among staff
- Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary
- Create curriculum to teach/train first line leaders on lean principles and philosophy
- Collaborate with local Human Resource Management in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of first line leaders
- Ensure all first line leaders receive and understand all corporate delivered material and information intended for successful orientation of new associates.
- Teach others lean philosophy

The pay for this position is $92,000 annual but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, and qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement
