Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wargames and Exercises Event Lead - Engineer Intermediate to join our team! In this position, you will be part of a team in support of the Missile Defense Agency while providing support for testing through all phases of event life cycle in the Wargames and Exercises Directorate. Domestic and international travel will be required.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development of event planning meetings, reviews, and other Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), as required to coordinate multiple events and ensure performance requirements and objectives are accomplished
• Develop event documentation for mission planning, integration, and execution(pre-test coordination plans, executive level briefings, risk assessment/mitigation plans, event execution plans, and lessons learned)
• Conduct coordination, planning, integration, and execution across all event phases in support of wargames and exercise with internal and external stakeholders
• Integrate MDS systems into the event architecture
• Support wargames and exercise events by developing, reviewing, and coordinating responses/inputs to numerous Missile Defense System (MDS) portion of Combatant Command (CCMD) hosted Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) program office-generated actions covering a wide range of internal and external topics
• Prepare decision-quality materials such as executive level briefings and supporting documentation for senior level reviews and mission milestone decisions
• Support technical interchange meetings in multiple planning forums and provide recommendations for Warfighter participant coordination, event scheduling, exercise concepts, design, and execution
• Develop and utilize techniques and processes for both technical and administrative support

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BA/BS in an engineering field or STEM related field with 7 years of experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security (or higher) Clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Motivated self-starter
• Demonstrated skills in a high tempo work environment
• Proficient with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with DoD testing
• Experience with DoD and military hosted Wargames and Exercises
• Familiarity with the DoD Joint Event Life Cycle process
• Effective communication skills

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
