The Henry County Public Service Authority is seeking an individual to fill the position of Wastewater Treatment Operator : for the Lower Smith River Wastewater Treatment facility. This individual will be responsible for wastewater operations at all wastewater lagoons and sewer lift stations. The weekly work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts; some weekends and holidays required. A valid Driver’s license is required. The salary effective July 1, 2023 is based on the Operator Class Certification as follows:

Class I Operator - Starting hourly rate of $20.33
Class II Operator - Starting hourly rate of $18.42
Class III Operator - Starting hourly rate of $16.69
Trainee - Starting hourly rate of $15.13

This position will remain open until filled but will close no earlier than May 19, 2023.
